Reference Sheets and Character Design

A reference sheet is a pivotal piece of art that attempts to lay out the important features of a character so that they may be rendered again in any variety of medium with some sense of consistency. This is a small collection of my personal favorite reference sheets as well as a few character design pieces. Character design illustrations are often looser in format and aim to convey an initial key piece of information rather than a full turnaround.
